Podcast: Two notes on being a gigging musician.

One of the hardest things to watch is when another gigging musician falls prey to their emotions on stage and makes a quick, but critical error.

I’ve been playing out for 20 years now, and I have not only seen many of these kinds of things, but also have – unfortunately – made the wrong call in many similar situations. This can entail walking out of a show, fighting with bandmates on stage, or even really just holding a crowd hostage during your bad day.

Therefore, in the latest episode of Inside the Mind of Daniel Thompson, I give two notes on being a gigging musician that I think are essential for being successful over time, or at least lasting in a music scene over a period of many years.
