It’s often the case on my rounds in the Kenosha music scene that I encounter bands that I’ve never met or heard before. While I normally love being able to give detailed write-ups of the things I cover, in these instances, I find myself without the sufficient material to do a deep dive.
However, I do still want to highlight the bands that pass through the local scene.
Therefore, I’m designating these particular writings as “Snippets from the Scene”. These will be very brief write-ups accompanied by photo, video or both taken at a recent performance of a band from outside of Kenosha that has recently performed on a stage in the city.
Recently, I caught the Chicago-based Rude Echoes in downtown Kenosha at 58 Below.
